The Chillicothe Police report for Friday through Sunday

Friday:

7:59 AM, Officers received a report of theft in the 1200 block of Walnut Street.

12:07 PM, Officers received a report of a possible theft in the 200 block of Cowgill.

12:53 PM, Officers arrested a person in the 1700 block of Clay Street on a Livingston County Warrant for failing to obey a judge’s order.  They were taken to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail.

4:53 PM, Officers responded to a possible disturbance in the 600 block of Locust Street.  The person causing the disturbance had left prior to officer arrival and was later contacted and advised he was not to return to that location.

7:25 PM, Officer called to the area of Fair Street and Polk Street for a animal complaint.  Animal was located and turned over to animal control.

9:05 PM, Officers received a report of lost or stolen property in the 1000 block of Graves Street.

11:37 PM, Officers spoke with subjects at the police department regarding civil issues.

Saturday:

3:27 AM, Officers called to the area of the 400 block of Elmdale for a report of a suspicious person asleep in the yard.  The person was intoxicated.  They were taken to their own home.

8:03 AM, Officers called to a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Walnut.  Officers reported incident was verbal in nature, no arrests were made, and parties separated.

8:55 AM, Officers received a report of theft in the 100 block of South Washington Street.

9:16 AM, Officers received a report of theft in the 100 block of Church Street.

9:32 AM, Officers received a report of theft in the 400 block of Clay Street.

4:43 PM, Officers responded to a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street for a report of theft.  One person was taken into custody for stealing.  They were cited and released.

9:11 PM, Officers called to conduct a well being check of a subject in the 400 block of Reynard Street.  The person was located and in need of treatment.  They were transported to a hospital per a court order for treatment.

Sunday:

10:08 AM, Officers received a report of theft in the 2500 block of Country Club.

4:30 PM, Officer called to a business parking lot in the 400 block of Park Lane for an animal left in a vehicle.  The vehicle had left prior to officer arrival.

4:37 PM, Officer called to a business parking lot in the 1000 block of Graves for an animal left in a vehicle.  Officer advised vehicle was running and animal was safe.

6:58 PM, Officer received a report of a stolen bike in the 200 block of Garr Field.

7:14 PM, Officer called to the area of US 36 and Willow Road for an abandoned vehicle.  The vehicle was reported to have been abandoned there for 3 days.  The vehicle was removed from the roadway after officer was unable to contact the vehicle owner.
