The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report for Late October and Early November shows a few investigations and arrests.
Incident Reports:
October 18 LCSO began working a drug investigation that has resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine and the identification of the suspect. Â Evidence is being submitted to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab pending formal identification and weight.
October 21 LCSO investigated an assault of a woman by a juvenile in rural Livingston County. Â Information was collected and a report was submitted to the juvenile officer.
October 24 morning LCSO responded to the southern part of Livingston County regarding vehicle theft and theft of a significant amount of tools from vehicles. Â Investigation continues.
October 27 LCSO assisted the public school with parent(s) that are not having their child properly attend school and/or remote learning. A report is being submitted to the prosecuting attorney for consideration on the parents.
Arrests:
Near the end of October, deputies made a traffic stop led to an investigation and arrest. The man was identified as 38-year-old Christopher Michael Vaughn, who was wanted on an out of state probation violation for an original charge of Possession of Controlled Substance. Â He has since been extradited.
November 2nd Deputies arrested 40-year-old Shannon Leigh Busse in the 1200 block of Third Street in Chillicothe on a warrant for alleged forgery.
