The Livingston County Sheriff, Steve Cox says Speeding is Dangerous and these types of violations put everyone on and along the roadways at risk of serious injury or death.
Saturday afternoon, a deputy checked a westbound vehicle on US 36 near Utica at 102 in a 65 zone. The deputy stopped the car and the investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver, 30-year-old Domonic Lamar Foreman of Kansas City for the alleged Speeding and Driving While Suspended or Revoked-2nd offense. He also arrested 24-year-old Lashae Walker Taylor of Independence for alleged Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Both were processed and released with a summons.
Sheriff Steve Cox says the department will be out in force through the week and weekend.
