Accidents in the area counties left two drivers with injuries Thursday.
State Troopers report 40-year-old Eva Gillespie of Bucklin was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield for treatment of moderate injuries, following the accident at about 3:55 pm at Missouri 129 and East Third in Bucklin. The report states a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Gavin L Wright of Bucklin was westbound and pulled into the path of the Gillespie vehicle. Both drivers were wearing safety belts.
A single-vehicle accident in Daviess County left the driver with moderate injuries. State Troopers report 37-year-old Ronald Bumgarner of Pattonsburg was southbound on Route AA and failed to stop at the Route Z intersection near Pattonsburg. He went off the road and struck the ditch. Bumgarner was not wearing a safety belt and was taken to Cameron Regional Hospital for treatment.
