An accident and an arrest are in the report from the Missouri Highway Patrol in Daviess County for Wednesday.
At about 4:20 am, An accident on Interstate 35 near Pattonsburg left two Dallas Texas residents with minor injuries. According to the report, 26-year-old Sadiki Kashindi was northbound and lost control on the snow and ice-covered roadway. He ran off the road and his car overturned. Kashindi and his 24-year-old passenger had minor injuries and were taken to Harrison County Community Hospital for treatment. They were wearing safety belts.
Troopers in Daviess County arrested 33-year-old Oscar Villalta Acevedo of Olathe Kansas at about 10:45 pm for alleged DWI, no valid drivers license, speeding, and failing to pull off the road as far as possible. He was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail on a 24 hour hold.
