Two With Serious Injuries In UTV vs Jeep Accident

An accident involving a UTV and a Jeep left three people in the UTV Injured, two with serious injuries.  The accident happened Sunday at about 6:50 pm near Hale, on Route 139.

State Troopers report Cloe and Kensley Steward of Carrollton had serious injuries and were taken to Carroll County Memorial Hospital.  The driver of the UTV, 24-year-old Christopher Hartbert of Hale had minor injuries.

The report states the crash occurred as a Jeep driven by 61-year od Ryan Foster of Hale was southbound and attempted to make a left turn onto a private road.  Hartbert was northbound and was struck by the Jeep.  Foster was not injured.

Foster was arrested for alleged DWI resulting in a serious injury accident and careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash.  He was processed and released.
