Flooded Roads and River Flooding

Flooding continues on the Grand River at Sumner and Brunswick.  At Chillicothe, the river fell back below flood stage of 24 feet around mid-day Monday.

At Sumner, the river crested Sunday at 37.02 feet and is slowly falling towards flood stage of 26 feet.  The reading this morning was 34.12 feet.  Flooding is expected to continue into Wednesday afternoon.

At Brunswick, the river crested Monday morning at 25.3 feet and minor flooding will continue into Wednesday night as the river falls back towards flood stage of 19 feet.

While the river levels are falling, continued rain on already saturated ground is causing flooding of creeks and low-lying areas.
