Theft And An Arrest In Chillicothe Police Report

The Chillicothe Police Department report for Thursday includes 106 calls for service.  Some of the calls include:

6:53 am, Call of dogs running loose in the area of Polk Street.  Officer was able to catch one dog in the 600 block of Calhoun Street.

7:14 am, Theft of items taken from an unlocked vehicle was reported in the 200 block of Cowgill Street.   Money and personal items.  Lock your vehicles.

11:36 am, Officers investigating a report of a person possibly being held against their wishes, by others.  The investigation continues.

12:12 pm, Officers responded to the 600 block of Woodward Street for a report of a domestic assault that had occurred involving a weapon.   The primary aggressor was identified and arrested, processed and transferred to Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail.

1:20 pm, Officers out in the 400 block of Williams Street on the report of someone having been inside a residence.  Information on a subject obtained and investigation continuing.

3:20 pm, theft of a firearm from a vehicle in the 500 block of S. Washington Street was reported to officers at the Police Department.  Information obtained and entered into nationwide computer system.

5:55 pm, Officers provided assistance to Sheriff’s Department on a disturbance call in the 100 block of E. Jackson Street.
