The Chillicothe Police Department had fewer than expected calls for service over the weekend, likely due to the weather and road conditions.
On Saturday,
9:56 am, Officers responded to a residence in the 1200 block of Locust Street to a reported deceased individual. The 96-year-old resident is believed to have died of natural causes. Livingston County Coroner’s Office took control of the body.
7:11 pm, Officer out on motorist assist at Business 36 and Washington Street.
Chillicothe Police reported a very quiet New Year’s Day, having responded to very few calls for service and the very light number of motorists that ventured out in the extreme weather and cold.
