The Livingston County 55 & GO Recognition Banquet celebrated 49 years of serving the community Thursday evening with the presentation of awards. Due to COVID, this event covered three years of service for the organization. The awards include the years of service pins presented in five-year increments. The greatest number of years celebrated at the event was a 35-year pin presented to Francis Wilson.
55 & Go Director Patti Mefford says they also celebrated the Volunteer of the Year awards.

Mefford says the Station of the year has won in the past, but was deserving of the honors again.
